Apartment Renovations Liaison

One of the areas of CCS’s expertise is designing and renovating apartment units for senior living communities. This position’s primary responsibility will be to work with both the Design Studio Director and the Apartment Renovations Manager to ensure CCS is delivering both a high level of customer service as well as excellence in billing & pricing our options. This position’s primary goal will be to grow CCS’s apartment renovation business.

Job Duties
  • Oversee and manage pricing for all options & upgrades that our Design Studio sells to ensure pricing is both fair and profitable
  • Manage billing by reviewing job cost reports and developing monthly billing applications
  • Oversee annual preparation of budgets for the various floor plans within our apartment renovation program
  • Lead meetings with customers on an on-going basis to ensure we are meeting their objectives
  • Seek to grow CCS’s renovation’s business by winning the business of new retirement communities
  • Help ensure that technology is being utilized to the fullest extent
Skills & Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in design, construction, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of work experience in construction, home building, or real estate fields
  • Extremely organized; excellent attention to detail
  • Strong computer and technology skills. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel is required. Experience with construction job costing software, specifically  Viewpoint Vista, is a plus.

Pre-Construction Manager

Responsible for managing all pre-construction activities on building projects ranging in size from $500,000 – $25,000,000. Also responsible for estimating tasks necessary to meet the pre-construction schedule. Work with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and internal staff to deliver results that exceed client expectations, help build long-term relationships, and meet company profit goals.

Job Duties
  • Develop preliminary budgets for projects
  • Prepare construction schedule for estimating purposes, resolve staffing requirements, and plan logistics with the project manager
  • Assist in the procurement and management of design consultants for design/build projects
  • Develop and present detailed take-offs and accurate estimates
  • Review drawings, specifications, and other construction documents and communicate to others involved in the project regarding construction problems, completeness of information, and potential risks involved in the job
  • Prepare general conditions estimate and review with project manager
  • Prepare preliminary, schematic, design development and construction estimates and participate in the value engineering process
  • Support Business Development in proposal presentation and aid in building client and industry relationships
  • Mange prequalification of subcontractors, and assist the project manager in evaluating subcontractor proposals in preparation of subcontracts
  • Assist the project manager in buying-out the project
  • Maintain current estimating records and unit pricing
  • Reports to the operations manager, however expected to often work independently

Project Engineer

Provide support to Project Managers overseeing $500,000 – $25,000,000 construction projects from preliminary design to final delivery by collaborating with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to deliver results that exceed client expectations, help build long-term relationships, and meet company profit goals.

Job Duties
  • Assist with developing and implementing construction project schedule to meet contractual obligations
  • Facilitate communications between field staff, suppliers, customers, subcontractors, and office management
  • Assist with managing project budget to guarantee cost control
  • Assist with reviewing job cost reports on monthly basis and working with the Business Manager to develop monthly billing applications
  • Manage and follow-through on small projects under Project Manager’s supervision
  • Provide estimating and take off support for construction projects

Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Seeking a full-time entry-level or journeyman plumber to provide support to a full team of construction professionals working in both residential and commercial settings.

Job Duties
  • Experience with PEX, PVC, CPVC plumbing pipes along with residential trims such as faucets, toilets, sinks, water heaters, etc.
  • Work with power tools to properly inspect, test, repair, and replace common plumbing equipment
  • Perform general plumbing services, and repair and install in accordance to local, state, and national codes and manufacturer installation requirements
  • Interact with customers and other trades to properly communicate company procedures
  • Applicant will report to crew foreman, but should be capable of quickly performing most tasks with minimal supervision

Job Duties

Job Duties
  • Proficient in the various phases of commercial electrical work including rough-in, trim out, panel work, and low voltage systems
