Preconstruction/Estimating Manager
This role provides overall management of $250,000 – $25,000,000 new construction projects from preliminary design to final delivery by collaborating with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to deliver results that exceed client expectations and meet company profit goals.
Job Duties
- Develop preliminary budgets for projects
- Prepare construction schedule for estimating purposes, resolve staffing requirements, andplan logistics with the project manager
- Assist in the procurement and management of design consultants for design/build projects
- Develop and present detailed take-offs and accurate estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and other construction documents and communicate toothers involved in the project regarding construction problems, completeness of information,and potential risks involved in the job
- Prepare general conditions estimate and review with project manager
- Prepare preliminary, schematic, design development and construction estimates andparticipate in the value engineering process
- Support Business Development in proposal presentation and aid in building client and industryrelationships
- Mange prequalification of subcontractors, and assist the project manager in evaluatingsubcontractor proposals in preparation of subcontracts
- Assist the project manager in buying-out the project
- Maintain current estimating records and unit pricing
- Reports to the operations manager, however expected to often work independently

Interior Design Assistant
One of the areas of CCS’s expertise is designing and renovating apartment units for senior living communities. A part of that cutting-edge experience is our in-house 1,500+ square foot Design Studio where residents come to review and select custom options and finishes for their unit. The Interior Design Assistant will work with the Design Director and with residents to offer them a personal and custom experience in selecting finishes for their units, as well as superior customer care and support throughout the entire process of designing, renovating, and finishing their unit.
Job Duties
- Consult with all incoming residents to select custom options and finishes for their new residence
- Collaborate with current residents, both those transitioning to a different unit as well as those looking to update their current unit, to select the appropriate custom finish selections
- Work with owners to specify finishes for “Ready to Move” units and model units
- Sell and order a full line of window coverings and schedule field measurements and installation for those window coverings
- Effectively communicate with office and field staff to coordinate schedules
- Monitor and evaluate all product offerings on a continuous basis
- Assist in maintaining Glasshouse Software, with appropriate products and pricing updates
- Assist as needed with in cabinet design and coordination
- Other duties as assigned
